Hi,

I honestly have to say that I think you just changed my opinion on writing my book. I know I’ve been needing to do this for a very long time but it always seemed too difficult. I was scared of the rejection, of putting all this work into something that I know could change my life for the better and I was just overwhelmed of the idea of actually writing a novel on well, my life.

You see, I’m a teenage cancer survivor and I want to write a book about my experience… But in doing so, it means I have to relive everything… Put myself on those pages and have people read things that for me, are so personal and yet, I want to share.

I was always so scared to just write and trust me, I have many people very annoyed with me. Including Sarah Burningham who I was lucky enough to meet on the Make a Wish I was granted.

I have so many people supporting me and now, after reading this, I think I can finally do it.

I love it. It works so well on so many levels. The best piece of writing advice I ever got (until today) was just to show up at the page – but this one pushes me that bit further. Thank you! You’ve inspired me today!

Oh, I like your mantra! And I am so a person w/ a novel inside this crazy head of mine. In fact, I have 4 pages of said novel, ON PAPER. Can you believe it?
I think I may steal your mantra for awhile.
And, as usual, your post has inspired me…..check my blog next week to hear about my mantra.

Excellent! Love the mantra.

This past year was a darn good story. Parts of the story were happy and parts weren’t and that’s fine with me.
