Hi,

I honestly have to say that I think you just changed my opinion on writing my book. I know I've been needing to do this for a very long time but it always seemed too difficult. I was scared of the rejection, of putting all this work into something that I know could change my life for the better and I was just overwhelmed of the idea of actually writing a novel on well, my life.

You see, I'm a teenage cancer survivor and I want to write a book about my experience... But in doing so, it means I have to relive everything... Put myself on those pages and have people read things that for me, are so personal and yet, I want to share.

I was always so scared to just write and trust me, I have many people very annoyed with me. Including Sarah Burningham who I was lucky enough to meet on the Make a Wish I was granted.

I have so many people supporting me and now, after reading this, I think I can finally do it.

Thank you.

I love it. It works so well on so many levels. The best piece of writing advice I ever got (until today) was just to show up at the page - but this one pushes me that bit further. Thank you! You've inspired me today!

Oh, I like your mantra! And I am so a person w/ a novel inside this crazy head of mine. In fact, I have 4 pages of said novel, ON PAPER. Can you believe it?
I think I may steal your mantra for awhile.
And, as usual, your post has inspired me.....check my blog next week to hear about my mantra. :)

Excellent! Love the mantra.

This past year was a darn good story. Parts of the story were happy and parts weren't and that's fine with me.
