I am back from my much-needed vacation. Floating and fumbling after an exquisite two-plus weeks of unplugged family fun. It is good to be home, immersed once more in our own brand of magical and maddening domestic chaos, but I’m not quite ready to jump back in here. I need a bit more time to get my bearings in this wicked heat. I need a bit more time, uninterrupted time, with my two tiny sun-kissed creatures. Truth be told, I have missed you guys tremendously (honestly more than I’m willing to admit) and I will be back here doing my thing and weaving words before you know it.
Soon.

Your “two tiny sun-kissed creatures” are so very beautiful. I hope you found the peace through relaxation, something you deserve.
Welcome back!!!I am happy that you had a wonderful time with your three creatures!!!!!!
Welcome home – your break is a good reminder that balance, while probably impossible to achieve, is a good thing to strive for. It reminds you how important family is but also how important work is. The endless struggle!
Take your time. And welcome home.
I can’t wait for you to come back! I’m glad that the break is enjoyable! I found your blog while you were on your break and have been reading back posts now for a while! I can’t wait to read with you in the future!
Looks like you had a wonderful time!
Welcome back! I am so glad you had a nice, relaxing vacation, you deserved it! I miss your posts. No rush but I’ll be eagerly awaiting my daily treat once you return!
Welcome home!I missed your blog but am so glad that you enjoyed a restful vacation with your family!! I cannot wait to do the same thing next month.
Hope you enjoyed some peace in your world Aidan. Welcome home!
Glad to have you back. Your voice was missed.
You’ve been missed back!
soon…
Glad you had such a good time, that is so important! We missed you and welcome back!!!
I hear you! I took my week of vacation and then another full week off after that. Just needed to evaluate some goals and rethink my approach to writing.
Of course, I feel just a little lame, considering that you just published a book, and I, well, I blogged inconsistently for almost three months. Whew. Exhausting. Clearly we’re not talking apples to apples here! But I understand and appreciate the need to unplug.
I look forward to reading more ILI soon!
Isn’t it wonderful to come home again? However, I always feel like I need a vacation from my vacation just to get my head back in order. I look forward to your posts…welcome back!
