Do you remember running and jumping in leaf piles when you were little? I do.

Do you remember the crispness, the crunch, the surrender, the smiles? I do.

Do you remember feeling free, and young, and invincible? I do.

Do you remember looking up, at the big blue sky and thinking there are no limits? I think I'm making this part up, but maybe.

These little girls of mine? They help me remember good things. And relive them.

Another precious perk of this gig.

Did you have leaf parties when you were younger? Have you had any this season with your wee ones? Do you agree that one of the best parts of parenthood is being able to relive wonderful and simple childhood experiences?
