Yesterday, I took you to the dentist for the first time. Both of your big sisters had appointments, too. And they went first, taking turns sitting in that big, mechanical chair like good girls, opening wide. And then it was your turn and you were a bit panicked at first, but then your sisters stood by your side and told you it would be okay. And you saw their faces and heard their words and you settled in. Dr. Best checked you out and said your teeth were perfect and handed all three of you stuffed Nemos and you picked a toothbrush and we were on our way. But before we left, he said something to you: You know why you were so good? Because your big sisters were so good.

And I smiled when he said this because you were so good and so were they. Three good girls. Zero cavities. I'll take it.
