What Real Lovers Do

Life is very busy with three small girls underfoot. The schedule is one big maddening jigsaw puzzle. We are exhausted. But. Yes, there is a but. But we laugh, Husband and I do. We laugh a lot. There is a core of silliness to our time together, a heart of levity. And I've never given this a ton of thought. I've always loved it, the pulse of goofiness in our home and in our marriage, but I think I've kind of taken it for granted. No longer. I am realizing how important all of this is - the smiles, the laughs, the jokes.

Are you guys silly with the one you love? Do you agree that both humor and passion are important ingredients of a happy union? What do you think "real lovers" look like and act like?
