Why I'm Writing About My Daughters Less

I haven't been writing as much as I once did about my daughters. There are many reasons for this, but the main one is that they are getting older and far more aware. Their stories are theirs now, or are becoming theirs, and I feel like it is not my place to tell them. But I do indulge in photos of my sweet girls. I adore capturing moments of our family life, of the fun and frolic. I love looking back through the images from our days and I know they will too. So I will keep snapping away.

Do you write much about your kids? Was it easier to write about them when they were babies and couldn't ask questions and express opinions?
